These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Alpha Brain, a Maths, English and Science learning app for children, operated by Clique ("Alpha Brain", "we", "us" or "our"). By creating an account, signing in, or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Alpha Brain.
1. Who can use Alpha Brain
Alpha Brain is made for young learners in Nigeria and the UK. Because it is designed for children, an account must be created and managed by a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on behalf of the child and is responsible for supervising the child's use of the app.
2. Your account
- Provide accurate information when you create an account and keep it up to date.
- Keep your login details private. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
- Tell us at support@alphabrainkids.com if you think someone else has accessed your account.
3. Signing in with Google
You can create an account or sign in using Google. When you do, Google shares basic profile information with us — such as your name and email address — so we can create and secure your account. Your use of Google sign-in is also subject to Google's own terms. We use this information only as described in our Privacy Policy. You can revoke Alpha Brain's access at any time from your Google account settings.
4. Subscriptions and payments
- Access to the dojos requires a paid subscription. A short free trial is available if you invite friends to Alpha Brain and add a payment card. Prices are shown before you pay, in Naira (₦) or pounds (£) depending on your region.
- Payments are processed securely by our payment provider (Paystack). By subscribing you authorise the applicable fees to be charged to your chosen payment method, and your subscription may renew automatically until you cancel.
- You can cancel renewal at any time from Settings. Cancelling stops future charges; access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable. Any referral rewards or promotions are subject to their own published rules.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Alpha Brain for any unlawful or harmful purpose;
- copy, resell, redistribute or scrape our lessons, questions or content without our written permission;
- share, sell or transfer your account, or access another user's account;
- interfere with, disrupt, or try to gain unauthorised access to the app, its servers or its security features.
6. Our content
Alpha Brain and everything we provide — including the software, lessons, questions, audio narration, graphics, and the Alpha Brain name and brand — belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the app for your child's learning, subject to these Terms.
7. Availability
We work to keep Alpha Brain available and reliable, but we provide it on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may add, change or remove features and occasionally take the app offline for maintenance. We do not guarantee any particular learning result.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alpha Brain and Clique will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
9. Ending your use
You can stop using Alpha Brain and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or where necessary to protect the app or other users.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use Alpha Brain after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
